PUNK #17: Cover
I liked The Clash at the time, and they were coming to town, so John gave me my first solo cover. The results, I gotta say, are mixed at best. For one thing, between the time I started this thing and shortly after #17 went to press, my feelings about The Clash had evolved somewhat. I was sorry I didn't drawn them as kids playing army rather than swashbuckling revolutionaries. Well, at least I got a backstage pass. |
