Tell Love, Screaming Love
by Harold Robbins (died October 14, 1997)
This poem was found nestled amidst some other words in the volume Descent from Xanadu, which, along with Robbins' other oeuvre, has sold over 50 million copies to date.
Moved quickly holding
Pulled back hoisting
Cupped, are dripping, said huskily
Heard snap, bent over
Felt, gasped; Fell resting, gasped
Came, grasped, rammed
Shoving was strong
Love didn't answer; gasping, moaning
Dug... damn... tell love... screaming love.
